The Palais de la découverte, part of Universcience, presents fundamental and contemporary science in a dynamic way in the form of interactive experiments explained by scientists.

Discover astronomy in the 'Planetarium', biology, chemistry, maths, physics, earth sciences, the 'Salle d'Electrostatique' (Electrostatic Room), and a room devoted to the sun and planets.
In our two new permanent spaces: the 'Salle Lumière' (Light Room) you can learn more about the chemistry, biology and physics behind this topic, and the 'Espace Hydrogène' (Hydrogen Area) which is devoted to the applications and issues with this form of energy!
The 'Salle d'Acoustique' (Acoustics Room) offers a series of experiments and demonstrations investigating the phenomenon of sound: the movement and speed of sound, the structure of simple and complex sounds (organ pipes), harmonic analysis and synthesis, interference and diffraction, the Doppler effect, beats and resonance.
The Palais also offers gene workshops in our educational and cultural space devoted to genetics and DNA.
