- Food Revolution:
- Rooftop Agriculture
- For a Better World:
- Impactful Design
In cities such as Tokyo and London – the production of food within urban environments is already fairly common. A trend that is gaining ground in other cities across the globe. Extending for 45 meters on the rooftop, the garden evokes the nostalgia of a farm from olden times. This space, which is normally not open to the general public, is a space where members of the Roppongi Hills community can experience farming and other activities.
Helping the community to get to know the food culture and traditional culture of Japan through experiences such as planting of rice seedlings in the paddy field and preparing rice and vegetables and observing animals and plants.
